ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Miranda Mixon is a 16 year old singer/songwriter from Mobile, Al. who is quickly gaining local attention with her blend of Country, Pop and her own unique sound of music.
Miranda first picked up a guitar when she was 13, and since then has been developing her skills in playing and songwriting. She has been building a fan base while performing her own music in coffee shops, restaurants and open mics at various locations throughout Mobile for the past 3 years. Miranda is the current Murphy Idol, winner of the 2010 Bayfest Music Scholarship and 2011 Geneva Festival on The Rivers Talent Contest winner. Miranda has appeared several times on the Dan and Shelby show on 95ksj and Life in the Fastlane on WALA Fox 10. Miranda has also volunteered her talents to play at St. Judes events and American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Camp Smiles and several benefits.
